Most people have heard of dry needling. Few have experienced it in its full potential. Having employed it with professional athletes and in my practice for more than twenty years, dry needling isn’t a trendy add-on. It’s a precise, highly skilled intervention I use intentionally to release patterns of muscular and neural tension that hands alone haven’t been able to reach or release.

Dry needling, when performed with a high level of expertise, can:

  • Calm irritated nerves and ease protective muscle guarding

  • Release long-held trigger points and tension patterns

  • Improve mobility and restore healthier movement

  • Support recovery from chronic or complex conditions

  • Reduce pain that hasn’t responded to other approaches

More than anything, and in the same way that chiropractic care works it helps unlock your bodies ability to heal itself.

My approach is measured and collaborative. I’ll always explain what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and how your body is likely to respond. Clients describe the experience as often immediate and surprisingly relieving, like a pressure leaving the system that has been there for months or years.

Dry needling isn’t for everyone or every situation. But when it’s appropriate, it can be one of the most powerful tools we have for shifting the body out of tension, pain, and restriction, and back into natural, more effortless movement.

If you’re curious whether dry needling might help your situation, I’m happy to explore it with you.

Book in online for a one on one consultation and examination or send us an email query and let’s get you back to moving and performing better than ever.
